A graceful slow dance, good for beginners, born in the suburbs of Vienna.  A modern waltz is a flowing, beautiful dance with romance.

Foxtrot

A mixture of quick and slow steps - not easy - but sensual and flowing

Tango

The modern tango is an easy dance but demonstrates arrogance - if you make a mistake you simply get tangled up and tango on!

Quickstep

A fast, fun, exhilarating dance - it makes you feel happy

Ballroom teaches self discipline, poise and strength. It’s a fun way to learn co-ordination and rhythm
We have classes for all ages from three years to adults and from beginners classes to advanced level. Classes are always with students of similar abilities. Exams are taken twice a year according to if the students are ready.

PARTNERS

When the students are competent we look for a partner of similar age, height and ability so the students can learn to dance together. We encourage partnerships from an early age as this stimulates and develops co-ordination and confidence

COMPETITION

Being the top Medallist School in the North West in Modern Ballroom and Latin American from 2003-2010 and many years previously, we thrive in making sure our pupils dance and compete at the highest standard possible for each pupil. Competitions are danced with the Teacher for one event and with a partner for the others.
